The Minotaur musical journey kicked into gear in the 1980s as a graff artist and hip-hop vinyl collector. Pause-button ghetto blaster mix tapes featuring everything from acid house to rave anthems to the sounds of Detroit were the order of the day. The likes of Blapps Posse, Break The Limits, Shut Up And Dance, Reinforced Records, Frankie Bones, Lenny D, Tommy Musto, not to mention all the emerging new jungle sounds were big favourites.
Several jobs and an Honours degree in Graphics preceded the first Minotaur jungle productions, which came together with the help of a friend and some old equipment held together with gaffer tape. Influences from film, music, art, literature, comedy and local geology have inspired Minotaur, but he specifically cites the legendary John Peel and Suburban Knight's 'The Art of Stalking' as hugely important.
After many years of trial-and-error music production and armed with a Windows 98 computer bearing a meagre 256Mb of RAM, Minotaur has been hard at work in his labyrinth evolving soundscapes and pushing the boundaries of his music. Proving that it's not all about having a super computer with the latest plug-ins, he is turning heads with his unique bullish sound. Minotaur's debut track 'Worlds Beyond' was released on the Med School double pack "New Blood" in March 2008.

If you met someone influenced by abandoned warehouses, decaying industrial buildings, jazz, metal, flamenco, electronic and psychedelic music you might say it's a bit random. Born in 1986, music has always been close to the heart of North Londoner Rohan 'Randomer' Walder. Inspired by the likes of John Lee Hooker and Jimi Hendrix, a young Rohan dedicated most of his time to playing the guitar and learning music theory. Eager to dip into as many musical styles as possible, he has listened to everything from American jazz saxophonist John Coltrane to the electronic anarchy of Aphex Twin.
As a teenager Rohan discovered drum & bass by listening to London radio stations Rude FM and Origin FM. Using Cubase, he combined his eclectic guitar skills with a love for technology and started writing music with an electronic twist. In 2004, Leeds University was the destination where the quest for musical knowledge was facilitated by achieving a first in Popular & World Music.
On returning to London, Randomer stepped up his production by transforming his diverse musical influences into something truly original. The result is a dubstep double pack forthcoming on Audio Freaks and an arsenal of fresh drum & bass. Ably assisted by the REDS collective (specifically DJ DL), Med School unleashed this exciting young talent on the d&b community in March 2008 with the face melting stomper "Autonomy".

Born in Los Angeles in 1982, John Dadzie aka Infiltrata prescribes a transatlantic flavour to Med School. Growing up in the south of the city, John's musical apprenticeship began in his high school days by playing in bands and regularly attending raves and jungle parties. The turning point came when he formed Imperial Recordings with DJ Lith, a stepping stone for John to excel in a field of production and management.
The Infiltrata profile skyrocketed thanks to support from Boxed Agency UK and John hot-footed it across the Atlantic stepping into the European dance circuit. He was able to catch the attention of big players in the d&b community with releases on Cartel, Renegade Hardware, Tech Itch, Barcode, Cymbalism, and Uprising. Infiltrata has forged successful collaborations with heavy hitting d&b artists such as Spor, Limewax, Concord Dawn, Evol Intent and Mayhem. He also joined forces with Dave 'Hochi' Weston, producing a telling remix of the massive Photek single "Sidewinder". On the back this he later helped establish the TEKDBZ label, a subsidiary of Photek Productions.
Infiltrata expresses himself as an artist in multiple genres including dubstep, electro and hip-hop; a fitting backdrop for any Med School beat surgeon. Donning his white overalls, Infiltrata has his scalpels sharpened and is ready to operate. The frantically heavy beats and hooks on display in "Psalm 24" are available as part of the "New Blood" EP.
